JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager – EMEA/APAC, the Marketing Specialist – EMEA/APAC is a forward-thinking individual with a passion for B2B marketing. Responsible for creating, implementing, and managing marketing communications and campaigns, the Marketing Specialist builds relationships through various channels including but not limited to social media, email, exhibitions, and digital advertising. This role suits someone who is passionate about improving the customer experience. This role works closely with sales, distribution channel partners, product management, customer service, marketing specialists, and third-party service providers, such as copywriters or SEO providers. This role is responsible for creating unique selling propositions, messaging, and supporting product launches within the assigned region for targeted accounts and markets. Strategically minded, this role sees the bigger picture, and proves ROI by increased referrals, cross-sell and upsell opportunities, customer retention, and oversight of loyalty and perks campaigns. This individual is creative, engaging, and possesses exceptional communication skills with out-of-the-box thinking. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and execute exhibitions globally by working closely with Sales and Product Management. Build rapport with customers to increase renewals, referrals, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities. Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person and virtual events, trainings, conferences, workshops, and onboarding and nurturing programs, throughout the Region. Identify and convert key customers to become an effective marketing channel, through case studies, speaking opportunities, brand ambassadorship, strategic collaborations, and social media influence. Provide product feedback given by advocates to the Product Management team. Work closely with the commercial sales team, with input from Product Management and/or Product Marketing Specialists, to develop effective customer-facing marketing activities and campaigns within the Region. Connect with customers to ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship cycle. Help marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives. Compose and send customer emails, while keeping up-to-date and streamlining with communications throughout the organization within the Region. Manage a library of up-to-date customer success stories and validation points. Identify, create, and execute marketing strategies that achieve commercial and strategic goals. Develop marketing campaigns, including schedules, success criteria, and feedback measurements. Ensure adherence to corporate branding style guide; work with internal & external partners to develop marketing collateral for accounts. Determine advertising needs and creative ways to maximize ROI; measure results from events and provide recommendations for future planning. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES A strategic thinker, with the agility to develop and execute long-term and short-term product marketing plans, using a high level of planning and strategy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Craft appropriate communication strategies, identify appropriate marketing tactics. Planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including communication and collaboration with other teams on what is planned, measurements of success, and results of each campaign. Quality and veracity of the product documentation and support materials used in sales and marketing. Accuracy, impact, and clarity of marketing materials and message, including grammar, correct spelling, and veracity of content produced across the company. Ability to work independently and as part of a larger group. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, social media platforms, videography skills are a plus. Preferred Education / Experience Previous product and/or customer marketing experience is a plus. Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics and social media management platforms is a plus. Photography, videography skills are a plus. Previous experience managing sub-contractors is a plus.
