We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Markets FX Product Manager to join our Markets FX Overlay business. This role is located in London – Hybrid. The Markets FX Overlay Business sits within the Global Markets Trading (GMT) organization. The FX organization is organized into 3 groups: FX Program Trading, FX Sales & Trading, and FX Platforms. The FX Overlay sits within the FX Platforms branch. FX Overlay is a currency hedging outsourced service providing BNY Mellon customers the ability to mitigate in whole or part their FX exposures within a portfolio. BNY continues to see significant new demand and organic growth from the existing franchise. The FX Overlay product team is organized globally with personnel in London and New York, with the global head in London. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Manage and own business change within the wider FX Overlay strategic roadmap. Act as product owner solving complex problems for our clients and business with a control lens while being commercially viable. Work closely and collaboratively with Clients and key partners in Asset Servicing, Sales, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance. Constantly strive to make process improvements, efficiency, and institute automation as a norm. Work closely with Overlay sales and client service as SME in communications to existing and prospective clients. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Several years’ experience in the investment services industry. Demonstrated experience of the following are preferred: FX Overlay – Either Passive or Active. FX – background with strong understanding of trade lifecycle. Good knowledge of fund servicing, Fund Accounting / Transfer Agency. System design and implementation within an agile framework. Strong data analytics experience, Python language an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work without close supervision, organize, manage, and prioritize work. Strong agile practices experience. Well organized and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. High numerical competencies with advanced working knowledge of Excel. Good understanding of technology concepts, design, and development lifecycle. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
