Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a strong knowledge of human anatomy. You will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout each session. Your role will be pivotal in promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being. Duties Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client requirements, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices. Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or in a similar role is preferred. Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution is required. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining client confidentiality. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
