Position: Master Diagnostic Technician - Automotive/Vehicle Location: Rugby, Warwickshire CV21 1DJ Hours: Full Time Master Diagnostic Technician - Automotive/Vehicle | Vauxhall/Bosch Car Service | Rugby, Warwickshire | Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with Saturday mornings on a rota | Competitive basic salary of £36,000, negotiable based on experience, plus a generous bonus, with an OTE of £40,000. Our stellar reputation is built on trust, expertise, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. We are seeking a Master Diagnostic Technician to join our experienced team. In this pivotal role, you will be the go-to expert for diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues using Stellantis and Bosch Car Service diagnostic systems. Your knack for problem-solving and technical acumen will ensure that customers leave satisfied and their vehicles running smoothly. Additionally, you will mentor less experienced technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-achieving workshop environment. City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification Minimum of two years' experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Background in automotive sectors such as Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, Auto Electrician, or MOT Tester Independent working ability and adherence to schedules Demonstrates good workmanship and accuracy in tasks Clean UK driving licence What will your role look like? Diagnose complex symptoms across various vehicle systems, alongside routine service and repairs Collaborate with Manufacturer and Management teams to resolve technical issues efficiently Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing Handle repairs and maintenance on Electric and Hybrid vehicles Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting Carry out routine maintenance, engine and gearbox repairs, and work on clutches and cambelts Ensure workshop compliance with health and safety standards Share technical updates with the team to maintain cutting-edge service standards What can you expect in return? 30 days holiday, including Bank Holidays Flexible working options Auto enrolment pension Opportunities for manufacturer training with Stellantis and Bosch Car Service What's next?
