As the Master Mechanic, you will be the cornerstone of our workshop, ensuring the reliability and performance of our electrified and traditional classic vehicles. This role goes beyond maintenance, offering the chance to dive into the world of EV conversions, solve complex engineering challenges, and showcase these iconic cars across the UK. With a blend of hands-on work, travel, and collaboration with specialists, this role is as rewarding as it is exciting. Responsibilities: Classic Vehicle Maintenance Ensure the reliability and performance of our fleet of classic vehicles, including both electrified and traditional ICE mode. EV Conversions Learn and master the art of electrifying classic cars, tackling mechanical, electrical, and engineering challenges unique to each vehicle. Collect and analyze performance data from vehicles to anticipate maintenance needs, reduce breakdown risks, and improve reliability. Work alongside external engineering and technical specialists to solve complex challenges and innovate new solutions. Vehicle Showcases & Travel Drive and display our vehicles at events, client showcases, and other engagements across the UK. Problem Solving Apply creative solutions to the unique challenges of combining classic car mechanics with modern EV technology. Requirements: Experience 10+ years as a professional mechanic, ideally with hands-on experience in classic vehicles. Skills Expertise in vehicle diagnostics and engine maintenance. Curiosity and willingness to learn about electric powertrains and advanced engineering solutions. High levels of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail. Other Requirements Based in or near Godalming, with the ability to travel across the UK as needed.
