Ketteringis home to57 buses and 1 driver training vehicle with a team focused on delivering the highest standards for our customers in the local area and out to Bedford, Corby, Northampton,and Peterborough. What the job involves: You’ll probably already know the type of work you’ll be doing coming from an engineering background. · The focus is on maintaining and repairing our bus fleet · Carrying out inspection of vehicles · Routine diagnostic · Undertaking roadside repairs You’ll need to be comfortable working under your own initiative, but still enjoy being part of a team supporting each other. There are a number of shift patterns worked: early, day and late. These are on a 5 over 7 rotating pattern. Don’t worry if you aren’t trained in the most up to date equipment, we can provide you with all the necessary training to support you in your day-to-day tasks. Ideally, you’ll be a qualified PCV / HGV mechanic. However, car backgrounds will also be considered. What you get: Pay is important and you’ll have the basic earning potential of over £40,000 for a 39-hour week. However, it’s not all about the money!
