Position Job Title: Master Data Controller BG and BU: Amcor Flexibles Europe, AFEMEA – Meat Function: Supply Chain Line Manager’s Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Advertising Legal Entity: Amcor Flexibles Swansea Ltd Job Purpose Process requests for material masters within SAP and maintain the production master data. Principal Accountabilities Creation of material masters on SAP (item creation); Periodic master data mass changes and the creation of characteristics and dependencies where necessary. Maintenance of the data tables. Maintenance of the routings and bills of material. Creation and maintenance of special instructions documents, including the upkeep of the document listing. Maintenance of SAP documentation (Word document); Creation of info-records and source list for sub-contractors. Correction of wrongly made declarations from production orders. Work with SAP Coordinator to develop understanding of full SAP functionality. Plus, additional ad-hoc responsibilities, e.g., Sample planning. Skills required Degree qualified in finance or supply chain desirable. Logical thinker with attention to detail. Good product knowledge. Knowledge of the production process, quality and hygiene systems. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. Problem solving and decision-making skills. Understanding of the basic principles of MRP. Understanding of SAP and the integration of production master data with the other modules. Safety awareness. Ability to stay organised in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
