Job description - the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Requirements Planning Controller (MRPC) to join us in Bristol and play a key role in our Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) business. Bristol MRO Engines and Module throughput is increasing and the MRPC team is evolving to accommodate this demand. This role is accountable for the delivery of components within a value stream. The role will include working closely with the Value Stream team to help plan and execute the operation within the allocated kitting timeframe. As a Materials Controller MRPC you will be responsible for: Working within a defined organisational unit you will be wholly responsible for your defined portfolio of products & components (parts / items). You will drive on-time delivery through effective planning whilst maintaining ERP and supporting systems. Working within an operational team you will identify, prioritise, mitigate and resolve delivery issues within the supply chain that may impact the customer. You will maintain the executive ERP system with relevant current data and information, whilst ensuring that any inventory is optimised. You are governed by the relevant company policies and processes. What we require from the candidate: The MRPC role involves a significant amount of SAP transactions and therefore SAP experience is mandatory. Educated to degree level or relevant professional qualification (e.g. APICS, Technical Apprenticeship) or suitable equivalent based on proven experience. Demonstrated ability to manage deliveries and make balanced business decisions under challenging ambiguous circumstances. Able to take responsibility for their own development. Experience of planning and associated control processes. Working knowledge of and experience with MRP and/or ERP systems. MS Office or equivalent working skills.
