Newbridge Description We are looking to recruit an additional load inspector to join the team at our Newbridge depot. This role will assist the team by auditing incoming materials, ensuring they are correctly designated and directing our colleagues and customers to the correct unloading locations. You will record non-conformances to ensure correct pricing is applied. You will be forklift trained to assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required. Key Responsibilities Assessment of incoming loads, ensuring they are as described Accurate completion of relevant paperwork, including audit forms, loading documents and plant daily check sheets. Managing traffic on site and following traffic management plan Providing banksman service to reversing vehicles if required Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles Any other ADHOC duties in line with ability This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Qualifications: Full UK driving licence (public transport links not good) Forklift trained Banksperson trained Experience: Experience in customer facing role Digitally literate – As the use of tablet will be required as part of role Safety conscious – role is heavily involved with LGV and HGV traffic, as well as mobile plant.
