To manage the operational aspects of internal fulfillment activity to ensure stakeholder requirements are met efficiently, timely, and cost-effectively from the inventories of raw materials we hold. This includes: Receipt and storage of raw materials. Fulfillment of picking and weigh-up activity for internal production requirements. Service to off-site stakeholders (including the Liverpool site). Leadership and direction for Warehouse and WeighRoom teams to ensure: Promotion of a work-safe and food-safe culture. Adoption of GMP and correct use of PPE and other equipment. Training and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures. Compliance with correct operation of MHE. Creation of a culture focused on right-first-time and continuous improvement. Other responsibilities: Coordination of labor to meet internal capacity needs. Delivery of accurate and organized materials to production in a timely fashion. Maintenance of stock care, accuracy, and rotation to reduce shortages, improve picking accuracy, and lower obsolescence. Creation of KPI and performance reports. Investigation of service failures to achieve root cause resolution. Support for projects to improve picking and WeighRoom efficiency. Cover for Warehouse and Logistics Managers as needed. Key Areas of Responsibility

Ensure warehouse operations adhere to GMPs and SOPs. Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of daily and weekly picking activities. Deliver order picking and stock accuracy. Maintain excellent internal audit scores. Support Planning & Operations teams to meet internal service KPIs. Communicate with external stakeholders (e.g., Liverpool) as required. Control warehouse costs to agreed budgets. Maintain clear communications with Operations, Planning, and other stakeholders. Identify and address upcoming supply issues to maintain service delivery. Lead continuous improvement projects in the area. Develop direct reports and provide training support across the team. Act as deputy for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager when required. Take ownership of personal development and growth within the role. Person Specification

Experience:

Significant and proven experience in warehouse operations with management responsibility.

(Essential) Familiarity with food or other fast-moving manufacturing operations.

(Desirable)

Technical Skills:

Demonstrable understanding of stock management systems within an ERP or similar environment.

(Essential) Competent in the use of standard Microsoft packages and familiarity with ERP and MRP systems.

(Essential)

Confident and able to interact with colleagues inside and outside the business.

(Essential) Literate and numerate, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

(Essential) Able to work unsupervised and take the initiative.
