Your Role: Key Responsibilities

Materials Management

Plan production schedules to align materials and labour with customer deadlines.

Manage inventory, oversee stock integrity, and handle material shortages.

Ensure smooth workflows for receiving, storing, and kitting materials.

Leadership and Team Development

Lead and mentor the materials, stores, and despatch teams, fostering growth and efficiency.

Conduct appraisals, performance reviews, and training to support team success.

Maintain health, safety, and compliance standards.

Warehouse, Packing, and Shipping

Supervise goods-in processes, ensuring quality checks and accurate documentation.

Oversee packaging and despatch to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Optimise shipping methods for cost-effective, timely deliveries.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in materials management or a similar role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Syspro experience is a bonus).

Background in electronics/electrical manufacturing is advantageous.

The ability to drive a forklift is a bonus.
