Professional Technical are working closely with a pioneer within the motorsport sector and are on the search for a Materials Scientist to join their team. If you are passionate about career progression within metallics and coatings and are seeking a company who pride themselves in the investment of their team and global leading brand, then this position could be for you. As a Materials Scientist you will be supporting research and development in all areas of materials. In exchange, our client are offering an attractive benefits package which includes a salary circa up to £70k per annum, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays, bonus scheme, private health care and more. Job Profile : As a Materials Scientist, you will be responsible for the following: Offering expert knowledge of materials to the team in areas of metallic material selection, coatings and detailed design consideration Leading investigations on failures relating to materials (in-use or throughout manufacturing) Contributing to materials related projects and meeting time-sensitive deadlines (project requirements, planning, testing and reports) Development on test methodologies to advance business knowledge and the understanding of material performance Implement and lead materials and process innovations based on the future requirements of the business Job Requirements : As a Materials Scientist, you must have the following to qualify: Degree qualified in relevant degree such as: Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Physics, Mining Engineering etc. Proven knowledge of metallics and coatings that has been utilized in an engineering environment Naturally driven and a collaborative worker Experience in diverse mechanical and analytical testing methods Experience in live data analysis to enable drawings of experimental and root-cause conclusions Company Benefits : In exchange, you will be rewarded with an attractive benefits package, which will includes: Salary circa up to £70,000 per annum Companywide bonus scheme Flexible working Private healthcare On-site gym If you feel you meet the requirements of this position and would like to find out more, please feel free to click ' APPLY '.
