Maths and Literacy Support Bridgend CF32 Pay: £12.90 per hour Part-time: 15 hours per week We are working with a local primary school who are looking for members of staff to join the team and support pupils in maths, reading, and writing sessions throughout the week. The school has dedicated sessions that pupils will attend in a small group or on a 1-to-1 basis to work on additional literacy and maths tasks to help the pupils reach a similar level to their peers. The sessions run from Monday to Friday and regularly run from 9am-1pm, so you will need to be available during these times. The school prefers candidates who can commit to all 5 days as it helps to build rapport with the pupils and assists in their improvement. You will need a basic level of literacy and maths as you will be assisting from Reception class up to Year 6, so a knowledge of what you’re helping to teach is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping pupils improve and grow within education, as well as experience with children and young people in some capacity. Requirements and Qualifications

Enhanced DBS Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) (We can assist your application) Relevant experience, either personal or professional, in the education sector.
