About the Maths Teaching Role:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities. You will support students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, fostering confidence and enthusiasm for mathematics.

Key Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring every student reaches their potential. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives. Inspire and motivate students through innovative teaching methods and a commitment to excellence. Engage with parents and carers to support student progress and well-being.

About You:

The successful Maths Teaching candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in mathematics or a related field. A strong track record of teaching mathematics at secondary level, with a thorough understanding of the curriculum. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, with a commitment to continuous professional development. The ability to inspire a passion for mathematics and a love of learning in all students.
