Position Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging Mathematics curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and qualifications. The role entails fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop their mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver stimulating Maths lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Maths department and across the school to enrich the learning experience. Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Mathematics education. Qualifications and Experience A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
