Position Overview:

My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager (BDM) specialising in HEVAC Building Services within the Maintenance & CAPEX sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to cultivate and maintain strong industry relationships.

Key Skills and Attributes:

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven negotiation skills to close deals effectively. Positive attitude with a proactive approach. Strong initiative and management skills to develop and implement business plans. Established network and existing contacts within the industry. (desirable)

Primary Responsibilities:

Identify and establish new business opportunities. Maintain and grow service sales business within London and the Southeast region. Organise and conduct sales visits to potential and existing clients. Prepare and present tenders, proposals, and quotations. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to clients. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients. Review cost structures and monitor sales performance metrics. Write and maintain detailed sales reports and promotional literature. Deliver product and service advice to clients. Attend networking events to identify and secure new business opportunities. Ensure sales targets are consistently met and exceeded.

Compensation Package:

BDM Role: £60,000 - £80,000 annually, with up to 2.5% of yearly profit incentive on maintenance. Additional incentives for CAPEX work to be reviewed. 20 days & 8 BH (increases by 1 day per year of service) Pay weekly on Friday Pension Phone/laptop
