Salter Grange is currently recruiting an

M&E Contracts Manager

to join a leading MEP Contractor delivering innovative projects within the Residential, Commercial, and Data Centres sector.

Ideally, candidates will have experience working as a

M&E Contracts Manager

on large-scale industrial and commercial projects and come from a Mechanical background.

As a

M&E Contracts Manager , you will manage the delivery of projects and project teams from the early design phase to handover and oversee the installation/management of Mechanical & Electrical systems on site.

The successful

M&E Contracts Manager

will oversee 3-4 projects with values from £300k to £5M.

M&E Contracts Manager Responsibilities: Lead and develop the site management team to ensure timely project delivery. Maintain regular communication with clients through online or face-to-face meetings and on-site discussions to ensure satisfaction with progress and upcoming work forecasts. Ensure site teams work efficiently and meet high-level objectives within target dates. Verify that site teams are using the correct revision of drawings. Collaborate with the project coordinator to ensure all high-level templates (e.g., material trackers, programmes, lessons learned) are prepared for the construction team. Procure plant and equipment in line with specifications and client requirements. Track costs (material and labour) in collaboration with the commercial team to ensure projects are delivered within budget. Assess labour and subcontractor requirements for various installation tasks and support team development and expansion.

M&E Contracts Manager Requirements: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. Proven ability to manage site programmes and schedules to meet deadlines. Experience managing multiple subcontractors and projects simultaneously. Ability to work closely with the design team to ensure high-standard project delivery. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally with clients.
