M&E Revit Coordinator - Canary Wharf
A position has become available for a Revit MEP Coordinator to join an established building services contractor based in London. They are growing a design arm to take the projects from stage 3 through to finish and they need a Revit Coordinator to join the team as their capabilities grow.
Role Purpose
You will be assigned to a project director as the lead coordinator for their projects providing the models and overseeing the outsourced Revit/CAD resource. As the team grows, the idea would be to grow a team around you.
Key Deliverables Produce clear, complete and consistent drawings from Revit. Model and coordinate MEP services within Revit. Contribute to the development and implementation of the BIM processes and procedures. Hold model reviews.
Key Responsibilities Work directly with the design team and the project director to provide clear and accurate models.
Person Specification Practical working experience as a Revit Technician/Coordinator in a Building Services environment, fully immersed in the world of BIM. Keen eye for attention to detail, well organized, methodical, pro-active & self-motivated. Experience of scheduling from Revit and inputting design data into Revit. Knowledge of BIM protocols and BEPs is a plus.
Desired Past experience in delivery of building projects. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, and Autodesk AutoCAD. Experience with other relevant 3D/BIM packages will be considered. Excellent communication skills for team working and communications with the design team. Ability to present and explain thinking and design decisions in internal meetings. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills. High motivation and willingness to take on new challenges. Ability to think laterally and creatively to inform future strategies in the BIM environment.
Remuneration Salary range from £40-45K + full travel expenses.
