A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients, a dynamic buildings measurement and topographical survey business. They utilize cutting-edge technology to provide instant quotes for clients online. Established in 2018, they have grown dramatically and offer high-quality measured surveys and 3D scanning output for residential and small commercial properties. They are looking for an experienced measured building surveyor with CAD experience to join their team.
My client currently delivers a minimum of 12 surveys monthly to various clients, including architects, surveyors, contractors, home builders, and homeowners, with ambitions to triple this within 2022. This role would suit surveyors at a range of experience levels.
Responsibilities & Duties
Plotting drawings on AutoCAD and REVIT (plans, elevations, sections, topographical information)
Promote surveying best practices internally and quality assurance processes
Undertaking surveys using 3D laser scanning equipment (Trimble X7)
Post-processing of captured point cloud data
Conducting drone surveys
Creating 360 virtual tours using Matterport cameras
Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients in a professional manner
Attending weekly team meetings
Average split of time: 40% site work, 40% drawing/modeling, 20% processing data
Experience & Qualifications
Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT, with experience in processing platforms such as LSS and Cyclone
Experience in measured building, land surveying, and CAD is ideal
Member of RICS
Good organizational, communication, and file management skills
Technologically savvy with a good working knowledge of Google Drive
Discretion and trustworthiness
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to take on responsibility and make decisions
