Our client is currently recruiting an experienced A320FAM Aircraft Mechanics to support a key customer at London Gatwick Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, supporting the maintenance and repair requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for aviation and possess a deep understanding of modern aircraft systems. You would be supporting the growing fleet and ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence, whilst also supporting other station customers as required. If successful in being offered the position, you would be expected to work on different shift patterns supporting the station's multiple customers' aircraft as and when required. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on multiple aircraft types in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures. Carry out repairs and replacements of aircraft components, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards whilst ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements. Assist in maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. Manage parts and materials to ensure correct recording of their use. Ensure all work is performed in line with company procedures, best practices, and safety protocols. Support the station workload as requested. Qualifications & Skills: Have significant experience working as an aircraft maintenance mechanic, with a strong focus on A320 series aircraft, ideally the A321 PW1100. Have a good knowledge of the A321FAM systems and components, including avionics, powerplants, and airframe. Have experience with aircraft systems including avionics, structures, engines, and components. Ability to work well in a team, and on your own, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work on various shifts (including nights, weekends, and on-call if necessary). Willing to collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of aircraft maintenance tasks. Full UK Driving Licence. Right to work in the UK.
