TEXO Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join the maintenance team of one of our external clients based in Blyth, Northumberland on a permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- This is predominantly a day shift position; however, you will be required to work shifts and weekends when necessary.
- Overtime will also be required to cover the needs of the business.
- Due to the nature of the business, you will need to be flexible with a can do attitude.
- You will also be required to assist with the loading/unloading of cargos. Therefore, the successful candidates will be required to learn all aspects of Stevedoring including operating plant & equipment where required.
- Previous experience of working with these types of equipment would be an advantage.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience working on Large Diesel Engines (Cars, HGVs, Cranes, FLT's)
- This client is located across four sites, so a full driving license is essential.
- Mechanical NVQ / HNC
- Experience, installing, servicing and repairing mechanical systems and equipment.
