As a valued dismantler, you will play a crucial role in our vehicle breaking process, completing various tasks from start to finish. This includes depolluting vehicles, removing interior parts and seats where required, removing and stripping engines and gearboxes and other key components dependant on model of vehicle. The right candidate will need to be able to work off own initiative, be hard working and have self motivation. Punctuality and time keeping is extremely important. You will need to work to set targets. Key Responsibilities: Dismantle vehicles according to established procedures. Remove parts for sale, ensuring accuracy and fulfillment of orders. Conduct quality checks on dismantled parts to maintain high standards. Perform housekeeping and yard duties to maintain a safe and organized workspace. Qualifications and Skills: We are seeking a dedicated individual with the following qualifications and attributes: Ideally 3+ years of experience in dismantling cars or a similar role. Forklift driving experience is desirable but not essential. Proficiency in using a range of hand tools. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a dynamic team. Excellent communication skills. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask safely. Strong awareness of health and safety protocols. Job Type: Full-time Working hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday (4:30pm finish on Fridays) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From £12.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week Benefits: Employee discount Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends Work Location: In person
