Mechanical Assembly Fitter
Salary: £26000 to £26500 plus healthcare and lots of overtime
Location: Ludlow, easily commutable from Hereford, Leominster, Shrewsbury, Bridgenorth
Hours: 37 per week Monday to Friday
Duration: Permanent

Exceptionally busy manufacturing company require an additional Mechanical Assembly Fitter due to an upturn in business.
The Mechanical Assembly Fitter Role:
The role will involve assembling / fitting a wide range of metallic components in the production of new machinery. Using a variety of hand and air tools (training provided) to assemble a wide range of interesting equipment on a small-batch basis. Reading/following clear engineering drawings. The role is based in a clean, well-ordered workshop with good quality tools and equipment provided. Great team atmosphere with good training and support for new or less experienced members of the team. Excellent opportunities for technical development or consideration for maintenance or service type roles. Skills/Attributes Required for the Mechanical Assembly Fitter Role:
Confidence in using a variety of hand tools such as socket sets, spanners, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. Read and interpret basic engineering drawings. Be able to solve mechanical issues regarding mechanical fitting. Work to tight quality standards and uphold safe practices.
