required for a specialist manufacturing business based in Woking. We are looking for candidates with experience in hands-on mechanical fitting and assembly within manufacturing and production environments. You will be working to engineering drawings to build and assemble a range of specialist equipment. Knowledge of hand tools, the ability to think on your feet, and come up with fixes in the build process are required. General assembly, production, workshop experience, and utilization of machinery and hand tools are essential. The company is growing rapidly and is looking for skilled fitters who can step up to a lead fitter role in the future, learn, develop their skills, and drive to meet production targets. Skills and Responsibilities: Assemble/disassemble parts. Service and maintenance. Read engineering drawings. Resolve any breakdowns or issues. Use of hand tools. Able to understand quality plans and procedures. Able to safely use air-powered and electrical tools. Able to competently use measuring equipment.
