Are you an experienced Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager looking to take the next step in your career? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing M&E contractor based in Nottingham, where you will oversee a variety of contracts across the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors.

The Role:

As the Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will take a leadership role in managing mechanical contracts, ensuring successful delivery to the highest standards. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to help shape and develop the mechanical division, playing a key role in the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage multiple mechanical contracts from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Develop and implement project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and site staff. Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is completed to the highest quality and adheres to health and safety regulations. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and resolving issues efficiently. Prepare financial reports, monitor costs, and ensure profitability of projects. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and drive cost savings. Assist with tendering and securing new contracts, contributing to business development. Play a pivotal role in developing and managing the mechanical division as part of the company's strategic vision.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need: Proven experience in mechanical contract management within the commercial, industrial, or retail sectors. Strong leadership and team management skills. A solid understanding of mechanical building services installations and systems. In-depth knowledge of UK regulations and industry standards. Excellent communication and client relationship management skills. Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control. A proactive, problem-solving approach and attention to detail. Relevant mechanical qualifications and a valid CSCS card.
