A world-class building services business based in the RCT area is rapidly expanding their workforce and as a result, they are looking for a Mechanical Craftsperson and a Senior Mechanical Craftsperson to join their team.
As a Mechanical Craftsperson, you will be responsible for heating and ventilation activities. The successful candidates must be able to carry out pipework fabrication and installations for industrial and commercial systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
5 hours per week.
Overtime paid at 1.5 hours.
Some work away, with bonus structures included e.g. £1 an hour extra, and stay away allowance at £25 per day.
Carry out pipework fabrication, installation, and other jointing methods for the industrial and commercial sector.
Soldering, pressift, threading, and fusion welding.
Installing bracket systems.
Assembly of boilers, air source heat pumps, storage vessels, etc.
Undertake testing, pre-commissioning, decommissioning of industrial and commercial water systems (cold and hot).
Minimum Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heating and Ventilation (commercial), Building Services Installer/Craftsperson of Plumbing (desirable).
