Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:
Produce and design detailed drawings and documentation. Use specialised software to create models and drawings of products. Research new materials and methods of development. Organise and maintain existing engineering records. Construct prototypes and confirm designs with the design/sales team. Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes. Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards. Attend/organise project meetings at both office and customer sites.
Minimum Requirements: Experience in the use of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault Workgroup. Extensive experience of metal fabrication processes; experience within the food manufacturing industry is very beneficial, along with experience with bulk handling systems.
