The new Mechanical Design Engineers will work from their recently redeveloped facility in Banbridge, Co Down.

Your new role In your new role of Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for 3D design and development as well as integration of 3rd party supplied equipment into aircraft seating structures. In your new role there will be a large emphasis on managing internal and external requirements using them in the integration of the equipment in both 2D & 3D modelling formats along with technical reports and diagrams. As part of the Engineering team you will produce technical reports, create 2D/3D drawings, assist on test plan development, and provide production / project support. Working alongside Senior and Lead Engineers you will ensure 3rd party sub-supplier equipment is integrated and certified to OEM and Aerospace requirements. A key area of your new role will be to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts & customisation of existing products for customers across the globe. You will be tasked with ensuring delivery to cost, time, quality & adherence to strict aerospace regulations and suitability for manufacturing.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in securing the Mechanical Design Engineers role you should hold a Degree in Engineering or similar and ideally you will have at least 12 months experience in a similar role. (We are looking at candidates from Graduate level to those with significant experience). Applicants must have strong CAD skills and have practical knowledge of Engineering design principles. Ideally you will have experience on working on end-to-end design projects, knowledge of ISO9001 and IT skills.
