Key Responsibilities
Support the Mechanical Engineering and Sales departments as required.
Act as lead engineer on projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful delivery of design projects while adhering to company policies and business regulations.
Utilize strong knowledge of physics and mathematics for problem-solving.
Develop new concepts and products to meet customer needs.
Comfortable with 3D design tools for modeling ideas into technical plans.
Communicate ideas clearly and effectively to non-engineering stakeholders.
Collaborate with team members within the Mechanical Engineering department and across other departments.
Work primarily in the design office with occasional visits to customers and suppliers.
Possess an inquiring and problem-solving mindset, creativity, and proficiency in design software (mainly CATIA V5).
Experience / Background Required:
Degree or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
Experience leading design projects.
Experience with machinery and automation equipment.
Highly proficient in 3D software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
Good knowledge of GD&T and FEA.
Excellent communication skills.
