£35,000 to £45,000 salary commensurate with experience + pension + private medical + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
This Mechanical Design Engineer job will suit: A Mechanical Engineer or Design Engineer with a passion for developing and implementing innovative product and manufacturing solutions.
You will be a confident and experienced user of 3D CAD. SolidWorks CAD experience is advantageous but not essential.
Specific experience of designing fabricated components, machined metal components, bespoke equipment would be advantageous.
You are likely to be degree qualified in mechanical engineering, product design engineering, or similar discipline.
This Mechanical Design Engineer job will involve: Working closely with customers to create concepts, design, and implement innovative product and manufacturing solutions.
This is a truly varied role whereby you will have responsibility for delivering your own projects from start to finish including all the design/technical elements.
Producing CAD designs and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Support manufacturing and prototype build.
You will be working within a multi-disciplined engineering (mechanical/electrical/control) delivering complete engineering solutions to an ever-growing customer base.
