late £30Ks and late £40Ks , with flexibility for exceptional candidates. Key Responsibilities Use

2D & 3D CAD software

to design chassis and body components. Re-engineer designs to improve

production efficiency

and reduce costs. Partner with production managers, suppliers, and customers to bring projects to completion. Apply your knowledge of

stress analysis (FEA) ,

fatigue stress , and

trailer legislation

to create innovative designs. Mentor apprentice engineers and foster a culture of

continuous improvement . Candidate Essentials To succeed, you'll need: A

degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

(or a similar field). 2+ years' experience

in

chassis design, body design, or related mechanical systems . Proficiency in

2D & 3D CAD software , with a solid understanding of

stress and load calculations . Hands-on experience with production methods like

welding
