Mechanical Design Engineer – Automated Machinery – Mechanical – Brownhills
Are you a mechanically biased Design Engineer who would like to work in a company where you are a person rather than a payroll number?
Brooklyn Recruitment currently have a Design Engineer’s role available in the Brownhills area of the West Midlands to join a small friendly team. The company designs, manufactures, and installs cleaning systems.
As a mechanically biased Design Engineer, you will be:
Seeing projects through from conception to completion.
Creating project designs.
Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Keeping up to date with technology advancements.
Ensuring designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders.
Other duties as required.
To be suitable for this role of Design Engineer, you should have previous design experience, preferably within the automated systems or cleaning systems arena. You should also have AutoCAD experience; SolidWorks is an advantage but is not essential, and hold a formal engineering qualification.
The hours of work for this role are Mon – Fri 8.30am – 5pm or 8am – 4.30pm if preferred and is office-based.
