Mechanical Design Engineer
Mechanical Design Engineer focuses on supporting mechanical engineering projects from concept design through to commissioning.
What the role involves
- Supporting mechanical engineering projects from concept design through to commissioning.
- Design components, assemblies, and machinery using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Develop innovative engineering solutions for packaging and automation equipment.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant regulatory and health & safety standards.
Skills and requirements
- Experience designing packaging machinery and/or automation equipment.
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
- Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD packages.
