Your new role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the realisation of engineering projects. You will contribute your expertise to design processes and project execution, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to transform project requirements into practical and efficient design solutions. Your experience and technical acumen will be essential in guiding projects through all phases, ensuring adherence to quality standards, meeting timelines, and managing project budgets effectively. This role provides an opportunity for you to leverage your engineering proficiency, problem-solving skills, and collaborative approach to make significant contributions to project success.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD is essential. You should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, a strong knowledge of design principles, industry standards, and regulations related to the industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, are also crucial.
