As a Mechanical Design Engineer within our ranks, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of the gas sector while advancing your own professional journey. We have opportunities available at Thyson based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Responsibilities

Attend in-house and client weekly meetings providing technical support to project managers Liaison with clients and sub-suppliers of the technical delivery of the projects in conjunction with the Project Manager Undertaking design reviews and attending design review meetings In-house manufacturing support based on produced design Specifying project materials Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline Mechanical Engineering qualification to HNC/HND (or equivalent) level Experience in equipment engineering specifications and standards Experience of piping design Experience of working within the process, oil & gas or petrochemical industry Experience working within the gas distribution / transmission industry Development Opportunities and Career Progression

The salary banding for this role is

£42,000 to £48,000
