Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a FMCG or Process Machinery background looking to take the lead on projects from start to finish, bringing your designs to life? Are you looking for training and an opportunity to get hands-on design experience to build your skills and be part of projects you can really feel proud of?

In this role, you'll work alongside the Senior Design Engineer, helping to manage projects from the first conversations with clients right through to the end. You will be involved in designing custom machinery solutions, keeping an eye on production in the workshop, and even getting out of the office to visit sites and make sure everything goes smoothly during installation across the UK.

On offer is the chance to join a small, close-knit team of Design Engineers, working together to create a range of custom machinery. While the focus is primarily on the Food industry, you'll also have the opportunity to work on projects in the Pharmaceutical and Packaging sectors. The company has been around for over 30 years, steadily growing thanks to the demand for their expertise, and they're now looking for someone to help handle the increasing workload. This role is ideal for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in designing FMCG machinery or similar who is looking for a company that offers hands-on training to support professional growth. It's a chance to work on exciting and diverse projects for clients across England, combining design work with the opportunity to see your creations in action. The Role: Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring smooth delivery at every stage Design bespoke machinery solutions using SolidWorks (training provided if needed) Collaborate closely with our Senior Design Engineer and workshop team Travel to sites across England to oversee installations The Person: Mechanical Design Engineer Background in FMCG machinery design or process machinery Looking to step up into managing projects Reference: BBBH17109a
