6 months Fixed Term Contract Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of pump systems and an expert in fluid technology, is looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join their Product Development department on a 6 month fixed term contract. Day-to-day of the role:
Research and develop new product ideas and methods, and improve existing products and processes. Utilise Solidworks within a PDM environment to create new and amend existing designs. Create 2D drawings, BOMs, ECRs while maintaining accurate engineering documentation & records. Manage projects through their design life cycle. Use Solidworks simulation to perform FEA and produce reports. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Previous working experience in a mechanical engineering design environment. Minimum 5 years' experience using 3D design software, with at least 1 year in Solidworks. Keen interest in industrial product design. Excellent communication skills. Ability to meet demanding project deadlines, with proven examples. Capability to work autonomously without supervision when required. Benefits:
