The role of Mechanical Design Engineer is an exciting opportunity to join the highly skilled design team, supporting their business to deliver 1st class automation projects. Skills required for the Mechanical Design Engineer: Minimum HNC qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline. Experienced user of Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD software. Knowledge of robotic automation, conveyor systems, and general industrial automation is desirable. Experienced in pneumatic controls. Key responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer: Provide mechanical design and detailing resources to the projects team and wider business, working within defined project timescales and budgets. Carry out technical surveys at customer sites. Support the preparation of design risk assessments to ensure conformance to the latest standards. Provide technical support to the sales, proposal, projects, and manufacturing teams.
