Responsibilities as Design Engineer
Support the company's existing range of products and put forward design proposals that fulfill the agreed specifications. Provide technical support to all stakeholders, both internal and external. Share ideas and knowledge, focusing on continuous improvement and suggesting enhancements and upgrades. Get onboard with lean initiatives. Take ownership, drive progress, and work to targets. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Make designs using 3D CAD software.
Previous Experience and Qualifications as Design Engineer
3D CAD software experience is essential. Previous experience in a similar role within an engineering and manufacturing business. Design for manufacturing experience. Strong IT skills. Mechanical engineering qualification. Reliable, flexible, and punctual. Knowledge of machine manufacture is ideal.
