A company in Oxford is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their development team.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in mechanical design engineering or a related field.
Attention to detail and knowledge of drawing standards, GD&Ts, revision control, BOMs, and COGs are necessary.
Familiarity with manufacturing techniques for both rapid prototyping and production, as well as coatings and finishes, is important.
Experience with PCB incorporation, thermal management, IP rated enclosures, electronic circuit design, and CAD software (preferably Solidworks) is required.
Additionally, knowledge of DFM/DFA for manufacturing and FMEA for improving product quality would be advantageous.
