We are looking to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer for a well-established manufacturing business in West Yorkshire! Working for a successful and expanding market leader, you will provide accurate design solutions by using CAD (Siemens NX) to support members of the design and production teams. It is important that you have designed precision-engineered products. Your Role and Responsibilities:

Design and develop new mechanisms and machine systems to support project requirements – close tolerance machined components. Adapt new processes including the use of new materials. Adapt existing designs where required to support customer specifications. Build and manage complex 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings. Conduct design reviews, DFMEAs & PFMEAs. Your Skills and Abilities:

Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer. A relevant qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline. Previous experience in designing precision-engineered products. Understanding of engineering drawings. Ability to work independently and in a team.
