Mechanical Design Engineer
to join their In-house design team. Job Description:
Initial concept drawing of various size projects. Generation of 3D models and assemblies. Produce detailed engineering drawings for manufacture. Amend drawings to meet customer requirements. Site visits to assess installation. Maintain technical specifications and user documentation. Completion of BOMs. Liaising closely with the Procurement Department to ensure all components are delivered within necessary timescales. Provide technical support and work closely and effectively with the sales, purchasing, production, manufacturing & build departments. Minimum Requirements:
Degree / HND & +5 years minimum industry experience. In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software with minimum 3-year experience. Impeccable attention to detail. Sound knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes. Excellent time management. Effective communicator at all levels. Good team player. ‘Hands on’ practical qualities and approach to problem solving. Driving Licence.
