Mechanical Design Engineer
to their busy team in South Kirby.
The Role: Produce detailed 3D design packages and fabrication / manufacturing detailed drawings. Ensure all work meets contract specifications. Plan, perform, monitor, and report on assigned tasks and deliverables. Participate in cost reduction initiatives. Utilize SolidWorks for design tasks. The Person: Mechanical Design experience. Experience producing Bill of Materials. Experience in sheet metal / structural engineering. HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Apprentice Trained. Understanding and manipulation of design verification calculations e.g., acoustic, structural, and heat & ventilation. (Desirable) The Details: Up to 45k per annum. Pontefract. Permanent position.
