Role Overview : This is a varied role that will allow you to get hands-on with the full design process. You will be involved in designing new products from scratch as well as modifying and upgrading existing designs. You will also support the team with cross-functional problem solving and operational support. With a team of 2 Senior Design Engineers and Project Engineers, the team brings over 15 years of experience to help you learn and grow as a designer. The role is perfect for someone looking to develop their mechanical design skills and get involved in exciting projects with big potential. Key Responsibilities : Design products from concept through to manufacturing, including modifications and upgrades for obsolete products. Support the team with cross-functional problem solving and operational support. Learn from experienced Senior Design Engineers and contribute to the design of cutting-edge systems. Support the team in troubleshooting and refining designs based on feedback or failure testing. Work predominantly in the office with occasional flexibility once fully trained. Strong core mechanical design skills (open on experience level, ideally 1-5 years). Good mechanical engineering background (open on industry). Familiarity with any 3D CAD package (CATIA preferred but open to NX, SolidWorks, or others). Eager to learn and grow, with good character and a hands-on approach. What We Offer : Competitive salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum. 4 days in the office, 1 day at home. Flexible working hours once fully trained.
