spaces. Key Responsibilities: Develop

mechanical designs

and prototypes for electric car-based systems, considering both form and function. Apply

industrial design

principles to create aesthetically pleasing products with smooth curves, lightweight materials, and a keen eye for detail. Utilize your

mechanical design

knowledge to work with materials such as nylon, aluminium, stainless steel, and cold casting. Engage with manufacturing processes and use tools such as machine tools and 3D printers to bring designs to life. Collaborate closely with the electronics, embedded, and product design teams to ensure that your designs integrate seamlessly into the final products. The ideal

Mechanical Design Engineer

will have: Solid experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred, but any 3D CAD package will be considered). An understanding of

industrial design

and the ability to contribute to both

mechanical design

and aesthetic elements of a product. Practical experience with materials like nylon, aluminium, stainless steel, and cold casting. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to design with these processes in mind. A passion for innovative product design and the technical aspects of mechanical engineering.
