An industry-leading technology company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to provide technical design expertise for opto-electronic product development. The company develops cutting-edge solutions for high-reliability applications, working across aerospace, microelectronics, and advanced manufacturing industries.
As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will provide technical expertise in the design and development of opto-electronic products, while also supporting manufacturing, new product introduction, and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer
The design and development of opto-electronic products Solutions for harsh environments applications, including high temperature Mechanical model design and simulation including stress and thermal analysis Design of various tools and jigging to support manufacturing Essential Experience required for the Mechanical Design Engineer
Strong mechanical background and manufacturing experience Experience with 2D & 3D CAD and simulation for complex design. Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment related to fibre products.
