Mechanical Design Engineer
We have a reputable and professional client who is looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established and friendly engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for working on a variety of projects and sectors, from initial concept through to manufacturing. The successful candidate will have a strong background in using Solidworks and AutoCAD software and be capable of effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities as Mechanical Design Engineer
Prepare design briefs, specifications, and Bill of Materials to meet detailed client requirements Undertake projects from concept to completion, working closely with internal and external stakeholders Create full technical files for company products Contribute to the design and research of new products throughout their life-cycle Ensure designs adhere to manufacturing requirements
Qualifications and Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
3 years minimum experience in a Mechanical Engineering position Proven experience in design for manufacture Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD software Strong communication and prioritisation skills Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Attention to detail Knowledgeable in working with detailed client specifications
