Key Responsibilities: Develop robust, manufacturable design solutions with a strong mechanical engineering aptitude. Utilise 3D CAD and analysis tools to create and assess component properties for optimal design (AutoCAD / Inventor). Participate in all aspects of product design and development, including validation, type approval, and production support. Work within a structured APQP new product development process. Provide design and technical engineering support for existing products.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Design Engineer within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Degree qualified in relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline. Experience with a variety of materials and metals. Exposure to NPD projects. Competent use of GD&T / GPS would be desirable.
