The projects vary from designing small components to creating bespoke manufacturing equipment and automation systems. This client prides themselves on delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions that meet the unique needs of their clients.

The Role

As a Design Engineer, you will: Design product components, assemblies, bespoke tooling, and machinery with a focus on manufacturability. Create 2D drawings, 3D models, concepts, assemblies, and comprehensive parts lists. Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and customers to ensure designs meet specifications and expectations. Develop and improve designs, taking projects from concept through to final manufactured parts.

What We're Looking For:

Time-served engineer with strong knowledge in motors & drives, hydraulics & pneumatics, automation & robotics. Experience with CAD packages, particularly Autodesk, and the ability to turn concepts into reality. Background in manufacturing, including Aerospace & Automotive, with familiarity with UKCA Marking, PUWER, LOLER & Machinery Safety Directive. Ability to interpret specifications and client visions, whether through detailed documentation or verbal ideas. Comfortable working under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Full, clean driving licence required. Full Right to Work in the UK.
