Mechanical Design Engineer required to join a well-established Manufacturing company that is based in the Swadlincote area and specialise in conveying & specialist handling equipment for the food, beverage & pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will be experienced in using AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD software design suites.

Design and development of conveyor systems and mechanical handling machinery, from concept to final production Work within a small team Adhere to company health and safety standards Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
A recognised mechanical engineering qualification such as ONC, HNC, HND, BTEC or equivalent. Must be fully conversant with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD design suites. Experience with installing and maintaining Autodesk software would be an advantage. Be competent using Microsoft Office, particularly working with Excel spreadsheets and Outlook email. Good communication and organisational skills. The ability to work well as part of a team but also be able to work well under own initiative. Must hold a full UK driving licence.
